Horse Rescue Operation Keeps Stable 10 Degrees Cooler

“Horses love coming into the stable,” says Brian, foreman for Blue Apple Ranch, a horse rescue operation in Ramona, CA. “The fans keep the barn 10 degrees cooler. And, there’s no dust. The fans work good.”

A sanctuary for abused and unwanted horses, Blue Apple Ranch recently purchased three 14′ Six-Blade HVLS fans for its biggest barn. In the video below, you can see the fans’ gentle movement, which keeps the horses nice and cool without disturbing them.

The ranch provides education, public awareness and therapeutic activities for people and horses alike. You can follow Blue Apple Ranch on Twitter (@BlueAppleRanch) or Facebook as well as donate to the cause.
