Residents of California’s Inland Empire are no strangers to the heat. But when you own a popular roller skating rink and your patrons are constantly asking you to make it cooler, the cost implications can make even the most seasoned businessperson break a sweat. Such was the case for Bruce Bragassa, owner of Stardust Roller Rink in San Bernardino, CA. Despite running his air conditioning system, and with barrel fans blowing in two corners of the 22,000 square foot facility, skaters were noticeably perspiring both on and off the floor.

Revamping the existing air conditioning unit would have proven cost-prohibitive. What Stardust needed was a solution that moved a large volume of cooled air at the ceiling down to the skaters below.
