Dripping Springs Ranch

Problem

There was no air conditioning in most of their buildings on the ranch.

Dripping Springs Ranch Park & Event Center is a lovely venue in the Texas hill country. This popular location is booked almost every weekend of the year for a large variety of events. The center housed everything from dog shows, to banquets, to barrel racing, to arts and crafts.

Every part of the space, besides the “Special Venue Room”, did not have air-conditioning.  Therefore, an alternative means of climate control was necessary to counter the hot summer months. The Dripping Springs Ranch Park & Event Center immediately identified the value and benefit of High Volume, Low-Speed fans and included them in the building plans. So, they installed Big Ass Fans in the arena.

While at The League of Agricultural & Equine Centers, Lynne Dickinson, the Dripping Springs Ranch Manager, was introduced to MacroAir fans. At the time, they were considering HVLS fans for their concession center. Initially, they were using wall fans, but they couldn’t deliver enough comfort. Lynne decided to purchase two MacroAir 8-foot fans for their concession center.
