Southeast Tech

Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, South Dakota is a beautiful technical training campus that is keeping it cool at school.  More importantly,  they inspire student growth by teaching viable tech skills in a comfortable setting. Their newest facility is a sustainable, engaging student gathering point. The facility features advanced technology labs with comfortable study spaces. These spaces prepare students to work and collaborate with the business leaders of Sioux Falls.

Spatial design is extremely important in an educational setting. Therefore, designers strive to create spaces that encourage productivity and collaboration.

“With the large volume of space, I knew the fans would provide great air circulation and stand out. They are a noticeable feature in the rhythm of the ceiling design.” - Michelle L. Klobassa, Principal Senior Architect, TSP

Designers used High Volume, Low Speed (HVLS) fans to help encourage production and collaboration. As a result, the HVLS fans allow for the air to continually move in a stylish and forward-thinking way. Thus, students ponder their great ideas, while comfort becomes an afterthought.

Overall, MacroAir fans provide a comfortable climate for this unique educational space. The fans also offer an innovative airflow solution! Therefore, they are the perfect fit for this unique educational space.

“The MacroAir fans met my expectations and fit perfectly into the design. I am very pleased with how well the finished product matches up with my early visions of the space.” - Michelle L. Klobassa, Principal Senior Architect, TSP
